Watch Trade Circle (WTC) Member Sales Rules

Welcome to the Member Sales Area of Watch Trade Circle (WTC). This section is exclusively dedicated to WTC members who wish to buy, sell, or trade watches and watch-related items. Please familiarize yourself with the following rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and satisfactory trading experience within our community:

Authenticity and Quality: WTC has no control over the authenticity or quality of the items advertised, nor can it guarantee the accuracy of descriptions or the reliability of sellers. Buyers are responsible for conducting due diligence and asking relevant questions before committing to a purchase.
Commercial Use Prohibited: The Member Sales Area is strictly for personal use and is not to be used for commercial purposes or external advertising without prior approval from the site administrators. Dealer posts within the “Buy/Sell” board are not permitted.
Prohibited Items: Non-genuine, replica, or fake watches, as well as any other prohibited goods, are strictly not allowed for sale on WTC. Violation of this rule may result in a ban.
Pledge Membership Requirement: In order to list a watch for sale in the Member Sales Area, forum members must be Pledge Members. Please ensure you meet the membership requirements before posting.
Complete and Accurate Listings: Each listing must include clear pictures of the actual item being sold, along with a detailed description, including the asking price, shipping information, and any relevant charges. Ensure that the item being offered is legally owned and in your possession at the time of listing.
One Item per Listing: Each listing should only feature one item for sale. Multiple listings or repeated threads for the same item will be removed.
Transparency and Disclosure: Any modifications or non-original components of the watch must be disclosed, such as dial or hand set changes, diamond bezels, or dials.
WTS, WTB, and WTT Listings: Use the appropriate acronyms to indicate your intention in the title of your post. WTS (Want to Sell) should include a description, picture, and price details. WTB (Want to Buy) should include a description and the name of the desired watch. WTT (Sell or Trade) should include a clear picture, description, price, and trade options.
Maximum Listings per Day: Each member is allowed a maximum of five listings per day in the Member Sales Area. This limit applies strictly within a 24-hour period.
Bumping Listings: Sellers are allowed to bump their listings once after 48 hours of inactivity. Excessive bumping or violation of this rule may result in the removal of the thread.
Moderator Actions: If a moderator removes your For Sale (FS) ad for any reason and permits you to relist the item, please wait for 48 hours before reposting it. Re-listing an item after removal is at the discretion of the moderator.
Completion of Transactions: After a successful transaction, it is recommended that the seller or buyer posts a message confirming the completion of the transaction.
Forum Permissions and Rules: Please ensure you meet the specific rules and requirements outlined for posting items for sale on WTC. Failure to comply may result in the removal of the thread or limitations on posting in the Sales Board.
Scammers & Common Sense: It is crucial to exercise caution when engaging in transactions. While there are many reputable members on WTC, it is essential to protect yourself from potential scammers. Here are some questions to consider:

Trust: Can you trust the seller/buyer completely? Building trust takes time, and it’s essential to verify the credibility of the other party before proceeding.
References: Are the references provided by the other party genuine and

reliable? Be cautious of multiple references from the same person, as it could be an attempt to deceive.

Payment Methods: Carefully consider the payment method used for the transaction. Evaluate whether it provides protection in case of a dispute or fraudulent activity. It’s best to ask these questions before engaging in a transaction to avoid potential risks.
Risk Assessment: Assess whether you can afford to lose the cash or item being exchanged. While most members are trustworthy, there is always a possibility of encountering dishonest individuals. Err on the side of caution and prioritize your own security.
If you are not completely satisfied or have any doubts about a transaction, it is advisable to walk away. Let the other party take the risk, and prioritize your own peace of mind and security.

Please note that Watch Trade Circle (WTC) does not involve itself in transactions between members. It is the responsibility of both the buyer and seller to conduct themselves in an honorable and timely manner.

Remember, your safety and security are paramount. Always exercise caution, perform due diligence, and trust your instincts when participating in buying, selling, or trading activities.

Communication: When engaging in transactions, communicate with the other party through private messages or email. Avoid discussing sensitive information or conducting price negotiations in public forum threads.
Honesty and Transparency: Provide accurate and detailed descriptions of the items you are selling or trading. Disclose any relevant information, such as the condition, history, and authenticity of the item. If there are any modifications or aftermarket parts, clearly state them in the listing.
Authenticity Guarantee: As a member of WTC, you are expected to sell only authentic watches and watch-related items. Counterfeit or replica products are strictly prohibited. Any member found selling counterfeit goods will be subject to immediate removal from the community.
Respect and Professionalism: Treat fellow members with respect and professionalism during all interactions. Maintain a courteous and cooperative attitude, even in cases of disagreement or negotiation. Remember, fostering a positive trading environment benefits everyone involved.
Follow Posting Guidelines: Adhere to the posting rules and guidelines provided by WTC. Reporting Suspected Scammers: If you suspect any fraudulent activity or encounter suspicious behavior, promptly report it to the WTC moderators or administrators. Provide as much information as possible to assist in investigating and taking necessary actions.
